摘要: Optimal design of quantitative-trait loci (QTL) mapping studies requires a precise understanding the power QTL linkage versus association analysis, under range different conditions. In this article, we investigate and analyses for simple random sibship samples, variance-components model proposed by Fulker et al. After brief description an extension model, show that powers both are crucially dependent on proportion phenotypic variance attributable to QTL. The main difference between two tests is that, whereas directly related heritability, more closely square heritability. We also describe how attenuated incomplete marker information disequilibrium.
