摘要: This report describes a comparative study on the effects of anionic detergent sodium dodecyl sulfate and chelating agent ethylenediaminetetraacetate purified rotavirus SA-11 particles. Both chemicals readily inactivated at quite low concentrations under very mild conditions. In addition, both agents modified viral capsid prevented adsorption virions to cells. Capsid damage by caused shift in densities rotavirions from about 1.35 1.37 g/ml reduction their sedimentation coefficients. Sodium sulfate, other hand, did not detectably alter either these physical properties rotavirions. some alteration isoelectric points virions. Finally, analysis proteins showed that loss two protein peaks electrophoretic pattern but only one same peaks.
