摘要: This article summarizes information and specific evidence regarding the epidemiology of malaria in pregnancy Africa. Malaria infection is more frequent severe primigravidae both during at time delivery. A study pregnant women living under holoendemic conditions western Kenya showed that peak prevalence (85.7%) multigravidae (51.7%) occurred 13-16 weeks gestation. There were a similar number recoveries groups 2nd 3rd trimesters. The loss immunity early was equivalent to an 11-fold decrease rate recovery from infection. seen late suggests mount satisfactory immune response reacquiring their prepregnancy status about pattern comparable observed infants children. What child achieves over several years mother reachieves 9 months; repeated successive pregnancies. practical implications this are discussed. (authors modified)
