摘要: A purified and isolated DNA sequence the encoded mammary-specific secreted protein, mammaglobin, are disclosed. Also disclosed methods for detecting breast cancer based upon overexpression secretion of mammaglobin by cells. The detect and/or quantitate presence or mRNA encoding mammaglobin. Immunotherapy-based treating a patient with mammaglobin-expressing tumor also involve using antigens to induce humoral cell-mediated immune response against tumor.
