摘要: Objective To examine risk factors that might be associated with thyroid eye disease (TED) in patients Graves' (GD), which may guide physicians the prevention and management of TED. Methods Medline Embase were searched for articles discussing Comparisons made between GD without TED, active inactive TED patients. Weighted mean differences (WMDs) odds ratios (ORs) determined continuous dichotomous outcomes, respectively. Results pooled random effects using DerSimonian Laird model. Fifty-six included analysis. Smoking, inclusive current previous smoking status, was a significant factor (OR: 2.401; CI: 1.958-2.945; P Conclusion Factors such as smoking, sex, age predispose to A targeted approach is required reduce modifiable smoking.
