摘要: Abnormalities of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and c-erbB-2 have been demonstrated to be correlated with aggressive biologic behavior in a variety human cancers. To analyze the possible roles these oncogenes ovarian neoplasms, immunolocalization EGFR oncogene product was performed 45 cases mucinous serous cystadenomas, carcinomas low malignant potential (LMP), invasive by employing antibodies against products. immunoreactivity present 15 35 LMP 1 10 cystadenomas. On contrary, p185, which is an c-erbB-2, detected only five carcinoma no benign cystadenoma. These results indicate that may involved neoplastic process epithelial adenocarcinoma, especially carcinoma, but involvement probably not as prevalent considered previously. Four immunohistochemically positive for p185 were also EGFR, suggests expression some extent carcinoma.
