After a general view of fundamental principles for physical refining and deodorization vegetable oils the requirements regarding oil quality, yield, energy consumption environmental influence necessary well-functioning deacidification plants are being discussed. The valuation quality is effected according to respective characteristic figures. Decisive yield in first instance concentration fatty acid distillate obtained. It reduced by drops mechanically entrained live steam thus function quantity velocity steam. Its requirement stripping depends on working pressure top, set temperature oil, obtainable saturation and, above all, drop be overcome plant. At same heat exchange between entering discharging required determines end both direct additional utilities meet environment protection rules waste water exhaust air. Under these aspects performances continuously semi-continuously operated used industrial purposes examined. In order enable an objective comparison all comparative figures referring palm with content approx. 5%by wt.
