摘要: A novel process was developed to firmly coat an aluminum alloy, Al6061, with [alpha]-Al[sub 2]O[sub 3] by means of laser processing. In this approach a mixture SiO[sub 2] and Al powder used inject in the melted surface aluminum. reaction product layer thickness 100 [mu]m created which well bonded surface. Various interfaces, Al/[alpha]-Al[sub 3], Al/mullite 3]/mullite, were studied conventional transmission electron microscopy (CTEM) high resolution microscope (HREM). It turns out that presence interface may be essential form oxide Si-content intermediate wetted better liquid Al. Investigations structures wetting phenomena during processing are presented simple correlation between strength is derived.
