摘要: Purpose Ocular side effects attributable to intravenous fluorescein dye are not well characterized. The purpose of this report was describe three patients with an unusual ocular reaction after the administration dye. Methods Retrospective review clinical and photographic records patients. Results Each patient had some type preexisting inflammatory disease. described subacute onset a unilateral burning sensation tearing several minutes Findings included new or worsening conjunctival chemosis injection in all yellowish discoloration conjunctiva two In each patient, noninflamed (fellow) eye did develop any symptoms show visible reaction. findings resolved promptly affected without specific treatment effect on vision. Conclusions can include transient symptomatic associated chemosis, injection, discoloration. Eyes active diseases may be predisposed rare through unclear mechanism.
