摘要: In order to investigate the selective breakdown of blood-retinal barrier in posterior uveitis angiograms were performed using fluorescein-conjugated dextrans (FITC-dextrans) different molecular weights (150-kDa, 20-kDa, and 4-kDa) two healthy controls six patients with uveitis, results compared those conventional fluorescein angiography. The smallest FITC-dextran could not penetrate barrier. Leakage FITC-dextrans all sizes was seen from swollen optic discs; 4-kDa 20-kDa leaked areas macula oedema; retinal new vessels allowed passage molecules only. These indicate that there is a differential according size various clinical situations associated uveitis.
