摘要: During the past decade, several computational approaches have been proposed for task of mapping highly convoluted surfaces human brain to simpler geometric objects such as a sphere or topological disc. We report results quantitative comparison FreeSurfer, CirclePack, and LSCM with respect measurements distortion speed. Our indicate that FreeSurfer performs best global measurement metric distortion, whereas angular in all but one case local distortion. provides more homogeneous distribution across whole cortex than CirclePack LSCM. is most computationally efficient algorithm generating spherical maps, while extremely fast planar maps from patches.
