摘要: Abstract Some of the physico-chemical properties oxides used as cathodes in batteries or electrocatalysts are briefly reviewed. Possible relationships between these and electrochemical reactivity considered, attention is drawn to important influence surface state electrodes on this reactivity. From consideration available information three metal technological importance spinel type mixed it apparent that reduction processes take place solid state, for at least, presence OH groups possibly H 2 O molecules necessary their activity. For all materials there appears be a correlation redox couples octahedral sites, suggested further investigation based new concept may lead development power sources with increased specific outputs.
