摘要: The alkaline iron electrode forms the anode in both nickel-iron and iron-air secondary batteries. reaction medium proceeds two steps. first step involves conversion of metal to Fe(OH)2 which transforms 6FeOOH during second step. In literature [15], several potentiostatic galvanostatic polarization, as well rotating disc, measurements have been conducted on alkaline-iron these steps it has shown that, while via a dissolution-precipitation process, solid-state mechanism. this study we measured steadystate, open circuit potentials (o.c.p.'s) at various state-of-charge (s.o.c.) values porous-iron electrodes with without sulphide additives inferred that indicate mechanisms involved discharge electrode.
