摘要: Abstract Two mechanisms for the passivation of metals are considered: (A) dissolution-precipitation; (B) solid-state reaction in parallel with metal dissolution. It is shown that galvanostatic and ring-disc experiments difficult to use distinguish these mechanisms. Rotating disc methods more rewarding this sense.
