摘要: Light has direct effects on sleep and wakefulness causing arousal in diurnal animals nocturnal animals. In the present study, we assessed modulation of light-induced by melanopsin histaminergic system exposing mice to millisecond light flashes continuous respectively. First, show that induction is dose dependent as a function flash number. We found exposure 60 occurring once every seconds for 1-h (120-ms total over an hour) induced similar amount bright pulse. Secondly, was attenuated absence when were presented with 3-h period beginning at ZT13. Lastly, acute administration histamine H3 autoreceptor antagonist, ciproxifan, blocked pulse during dark period. Ciproxifan caused decrease NREMS delta power increase theta activity both wake periods The data suggest some form temporal integration occurs response flashes, this process requires photoreception. Furthermore, pharmacological neurotransmission sufficient attenuate
