摘要: Objective To investigate the effects of a 21-week concurrent strength and endurance training protocol on physical fitness profile in women with early or longstanding rheumatoid arthritis (RA) compared healthy subjects. Methods Twenty-three female patients RA volunteered for study. Twelve had eleven RA. served as controls. Maximal different muscle groups was measured by dynamometers, walking speed light cells, vertical squat jump force platform to mirror explosive force. oxygen uptake gas analyzer. Six sessions (3 3 training) were carried out 2-week period 21 weeks. Results The led large gains maximal both (P < 0.043–0.001). The accompanied increases 0.034–0.001) 0.034–0.001). Significant improvements also occurred aerobic capacity all 0.023–0.014). Conclusions Both stable disease can safely improve characteristics their using progressive protocol.
