摘要: Purpose To evaluate the efficacy of optical coherence tomography (OCT) angiography versus fluorescein (FA) in terms retinal vessel imaging ischaemic diabetic maculopathy defined according to Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study (ETDRS) classification. Methods Twenty patients (31 eyes) with and 17 control subjects (27 were enrolled this prospective study. Patients underwent complete ophthalmic examination, including best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA), intraocular pressure, FA, Fourier domain (FD-OCT) OCT angiography. Fluorescein angiograms images graded foveal avascular zone (FAZ) ETDRS group. Ganglion cell complex (GCC) thickness was evaluated FD-OCT. Results Optical closely correlated FA FAZ parameters. The correlation strongest deep imaging. average GCC smaller than controls. Neither parameters nor BCVA. Conclusions Given between parameters, newer method can be considered a valid, reliable easy-to-perform which without contrast injection, thus visualize quantify non-perfusion areas risks anaphylactic reactions.
