摘要: This chapter focuses on large scale thermal energy storage, also referred to in general as “TES,” specifically those used district heating and cooling (DHC) systems. TES is by definition: a device of containment that allows energy, traditionally water-based be stored for future use, ideally with limited loss. The primary focus the incentives behind implementing operational schemes different system constellations. design issues related sizing construction storages are addressed, types storage considered, mainly short term, but some reference seasonal storage. We briefly look into alternative types, well trends applicable DHC systems general. content this based primarily experience obtained through project execution, knowledge sharing between professionals industry.
