摘要: Abstract Ion mobility spectrometry (IMS) is currently in widespread use for the detection and identification of narcotic explosive compounds without prior sample clean-up or concentration steps. IMS analysis rapid, less than a minute, sensitive, with limits nanogram to picogram range, depending on target analyte. Our studies indicate that this technique has potential specific components bacterial cells differentiation strains species within no specialized test kits reagents required. When microgram quantities whole are thermally desorbed, complex positive negative ion patterns (plasmagrams) obtained. These plasmagrams differ reproducibly different conditions growth, can be used classification bacteria, including pathogens. Methods improved peak detection, most notably sequential desorption at stepped increases temperature (programmed ramping), described.
