摘要: Abstract A mixed-type solar dryer operating with three different modes of operation (mixed-mode natural convection (MM-NC); mixed-mode forced (MM-FC) and indirect-mode (IM-NC)) were evaluated to reduce the moisture content pear 82.15 ± 0.13% up 8.86 ± 1.3% (wet basis). The drying times 5.25, 4.5, 6.6 h; efficiencies 13.6, 11.2, 26.6%, average instantaneous thermal air heater 33.0%, 56.3%, 30.9% for MM-NC, MM-FC, IM-NC modes, respectively. chamber’s exergy efficiency values in MM-NC mode was 65.2%, while lowest MM-FC (54.4%). had a more significant improvement potential (308.76 kJ) than other modes. highest value energy utilization ratio 29.1% mode. experimental data shows that higher two lower potential, taking better advantage supplied energy. Having these results would be expected by increasing load, dryer’s could improved.
