摘要: We identified and characterized two new ING family genes, p29ING4 p28ING5,coding for proteins of 249 240 amino acids, respectively. Both p28ING5 have a plant homeodomain finger motif also found in other proteins, which is common involved chromatin remodeling. or overexpression resulted diminished colony-forming efficiency, decreased cell population S phase, the induction apoptosis p53-dependent manner. activate p21/waf1 promoter, induce p21/WAF1 expression. enhance p53 acetylation at Lys-382 residues, physically interact with p300, member histone acetyl transferase complexes, vivo. These results indicate that may be significant modulators function.
