Recreation and leisure literature for individuals with mental retardation: implications for outdoor recreation.

摘要: The article provides a detailed synthesis of literature prepared for the President's Commission on American's Outdoors. Characteristics individuals with mental retardation are summarized along review articles describing traditional outdoor recreation programs. The paper also description leisure skill development strategies. Specific recommendations to Commission are included.
