摘要: A stated-preference experiment was performed in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, to examine the nature of various influences on location decisions by categories small independent retail firms. total 287 completed observations were obtained. In each observation respondent shop owner or manager presented with a set possible locations and asked indicate order preference for those locations. These used estimate parameter values range alternative utility functions logit models representing this choice behavior. The results that all included attributes have significant effects except driving time nearest electrical substation, which as an irrelevant variable see if method would it irrelevant. also addition one more competitor nearby is onerous increase rent C$127 per month; switch from separate minor road major desirable decrease C$388 mall C$665 parking charge C$1 hour customers almost C$200 month. Some are novel others broadly consistent findings other research, seen add credence approach used.
