摘要: Humans with SLE were studied regard to their ability metabolize estradiol and testosterone. Significant abnormalities in the patterns of metabolism both classes sex steroids found. Estradiol hydroxylation at C-16 was more extensive males females -- leading estrogenic metabolites; testosterone oxidation elevated patients resulting a decrease total androgens. Some normal first degree relatives also had hydroxylation.
