摘要: Common type I diamonds (as classified by Robertson et al.) have additional absorption in the infrared and ultraviolet. It is shown that strongest band at 7.8 \ensuremath{\mu} ultraviolet 3065 A are proportional to nitrogen concentration of crystal. corresponding increase lattice constant found be as high 0.01% for a content 0.2%. Concentration, X-ray, density data suggest occupies substitutional position diamond lattice. The bands 7.8, 8.3, 9.1, 20.8 considered C-N molecular vibrations. Several optical, electrical, thermal properties discussed view our findings.
