Nanofillers in ZnO based materials: a ‘smart’ technique for developing miniaturized high energy field varistors

摘要: The present work encompasses the strategic design, synthesis and development of high energy field ZnO varistors. key aspect study involves chemical based nanorod nanofillers by a pH selective precipitation reflux method. High varistors were developed out these crystalline employing them as fillers to micron sized commercial varistor powder. A systematic investigation microstructural changes nanofiller added samples carried under step-sintering normal sintering conditions. Comparative studies also performed with nano micro counterparts. influence in powder packing, grain structure refinement, size reduction on I–V properties analyzed Based performance analysis, current foresees ample opportunities for miniaturizing at least half currently available
