ROCKET AURORAL INVESTIGATIONS

摘要: The U. S. Naval Research Laboratory fired 3 AerobeeHi rockets to determine the nature of high altitude currents associated with visible auroras and radiation incident on upper atmosphere responsible for their production. It was found that at least some are directly related presence in one case flowed an about 120 km. results indicate can have small dimensions. further both rays diffuse forms which were penetrated auroral luminosity primarily due energetic electrons atmosphere.
