Salidroside induces apoptosis and triggers endoplasmic reticulum stress in human hepatocellular carcinoma

摘要: Salidroside possesses excellent anti-tumor activity in many types of malignant tumor. In present study, we focused on the effects salidroside hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The viability human HCC cells was assayed using MTT. Apoptosis and tissues samples were detected by Annexin V/PI or TUNEL staining assays. levels apoptosis endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress related proteins measured western blotting analysis. We found significantly suppressed cell promoted cells. could activate intrinsic extrinsic apoptotic pathways, increasing activities caspase-3, caspase-8 caspase-9, up-regulating Bax, Cytochrome c decreasing level Bcl-2 HepG2 Moreover, it induced ER increased expression p-PERK, eIF2a, p-eIF2a, ATF-6 CHOP Interestingly, knockdown impaired inhibitory cells, suggesting important role cytotoxic effect salidroside. Finally, have confirmed inhibited development an xenograft mouse model. conclusion, our data suggest inhibits induces both vitro vivo, this is partially mediated activation stress.
