摘要: A term limit is a statutory or constitutional restriction on the number of terms that an individual allowed to hold particular elected office. The may not be grandfathered. Full grandfathering allows officeholders at time limits are enacted exempt from limits, whereas limited such treated as if they have previously served no terms. Some allow who forced out office by same again after specified period has elapsed while many do not. In recent years there been heated debate over desirability limits.
