摘要: This paper aims to go some way answering the question: "Where are we now in evolution of supply chains and what has occur advance along continuum?" (Bowersox et al., 2000) by undertaking a conceptual synthesis relevant literatures relating increasing importance managing knowledge chains. These issues developed through chain literature, analysed adopting perspectives from management research streams. A consensus is emerging literature that evolutionary continuum must become more integrated, with increased levels collaboration between upstream downstream partners. Yet, majority existing still focuses on asset, data information elements exchange despite fact integration clearly require complex at expertise levels. Within contexts dimensions not so well understood their as business dynamics shift towards competing proposes several concepts frameworks useful academics practitioners. It contributes gap development chains, which been identified an important area continued theory practice.
