摘要: Given the increasing importance of sustainability aspects in national energy plans, this article deals with prospective analysis life-cycle indicators power generation sector through case study Spain. A technology-rich, optimisation-based model for Spain is developed and provided endogenous (climate change, resources, human health) to assess their evolution 2050. Prospective performance are analysed under two scenarios: a business-as-usual one, an alternative scenario favouring role carbon dioxide capture electricity production mix by Life-cycle impacts found decrease substantially when existing fossil technologies disappear (especially coal thermal plants). In long term, relatively high presence natural gas arises as main source impact. When installation new options without CO2 forbidden 2030, both renewable and—to lesser extent—fossil increase contribution production. The integration into models proves boost usefulness life cycle assessment systems modelling order support decision- policy-making.
