摘要: Few volumes in contemporary economics have been more lauded, and summarised a zeitgeist, as much Abhijit Banerjee Esther Duflo’s Poor Economics.1 The book has received prominent international prizes (The Financial Times Goldman Sachs Business Book of the Year, for example), widely read, reviewed, praised, including by leading economists philanthropists.2 It is capstone authors’ work, representing their effort to project broad readership perspective on development that they communicated influential academic papers through professional activities – which also lauded extensive media attention award prestigious United States, France, India, elsewhere.
