摘要: Abstract The control of neurofilament (NF) protein gene expression was studied by determining and comparing the levels mRNA to heavy (NF-H), mid-sized (NF-M) light (NF-L) NF subunits in rat dorsal root ganglia (DRG) following sciatic nerve transection. NF-H (4.5 kb), NF-M (3.4 kb) NF-L (2.5 4.0 were identified Northern blots quantitated dot blot analyses, using specific cDNA probes for each protein. Following transection, there a coordinated decline all 3 proteins, beginning as early days transection continuing at least 28 days. co-terminal fall mRNAs suggests that genes are regulated common factor(s) function these is influenced state axonal continuity with target organ.
