摘要: Abstract Soft magnetic composite particles of reduced iron coated with ultrathin films poly(p-xylylene) (PPX) were prepared via chemical vapor deposition (CVD) polymerization. The structure, morphology, properties, and stability PPX encapsulated studied. It can be confirmed from FTIR spectrum that the polymer covered outside is PPX. thickness film averagely 100 nm according to results transmission electron microscopy (TEM). mean diameter about 6.0 μm. resistance thermooxidation much higher than due protection powder. After being film, acidic corrosion obviously improved. Although saturation magnetization (Bs) 1.42 T 1.33 T after coating process, their coercive force (Hc) decreases 10.6 kA/m 6.02 kA/m, which advantageous for application soft in MR fluid.
