摘要: We present direct imaging of carbon clusters using high-resolution electron microscopy. find the stable form particles, obtained after irradiation, to be a spherical, concentric-shelled graphitic structure, rather than hollow cage, icosahedral or tubular. The shells these onionlike particles are remarkably well crystallized. They under an intense beam, even when formed only few (2 ÷ 5). suggest that canonical large clusters, containing more hundred atoms, is spheroidal, structure.
