摘要: This paper presents the measurement results of environmental radioactivity levels for Şebinkarahisar district (uranium-thorium area), Giresun, Turkey. The concentrations 238U, 232Th, 40K and fission product 137Cs in soil samples collected from 73 regions surroundings study area were determined. In situ measurements gamma dose rate air performed same locations where using a portable NaI detector. Also mean 232Th rock 50 estimated cancer risk value was found. seasonal variations indoor radon activity determined 30 dwellings area. addition, gross alpha, beta activities tap water dwellings. excess lifetime calculated factors International Commission on Radiological Protection Biological Effects Ionizing Radiation. maps region composed obtained this study.
