摘要: We present a detailed analysis of 256 radio sources from our deep (flux density limit 42 μJy at the field center 1.4 GHz) Chandra Deep Field South and 5 GHz VLA survey. The population is studied by using wealth multiwavelength information in radio, optical, X-ray bands. availability redshifts for ~80% complete sample allows us to derive reliable luminosity estimates majority objects. data, including upper limits, all turn out be key factor establishing nature faint sources. Due optical levels probed this study, we have uncovered distant active galactic nuclei (AGNs) systematically missing many previous studies sub-millijansky source identifications. find that, while well-known flattening number counts below 1 mJy mostly due star-forming galaxies, these AGNs make up an approximately equal fraction sky, contrary some results. include low-power, Fanaroff-Riley I type, significant radio-quiet component, which amounts one fifth total sample. ratio radio-to-optical depends more on luminosity, rather than being absorption.
