摘要: An outward-going intervertebral foramina puncture along the side of lumbar vertebra spinous process was used to avoid infusing drugs into subarachnoid space. However, we still had an inadvertent malpractice. The patient diagnosed with discogenic lower back pain and administrated through (L5-S1). drug mixture, containing triamcinolone acetonide suspension, cyanocobalamin bupivacaine HCl, injected. palpitations, chest tightness, dyspnea, bradycardia, hypotension 3 min right after injection. vital signs gradually stabilized treatment atropine sulfate; however, he complete sensorimotor loss below level distribution T2 spinal nerve. cerebrospinal fluid pressure in space slightly turbid light pink color. Six hours later, sensory, motor, defecation, urination functions returned normal level. follow-up evaluations at 1, 3, 6 months. hip mild-to-severe times as usual, but there were no other neurologic sequelae. Conclusions: This case showed that is a risk may stray during vertebral process. complication occur due distal nerve root cyst. result suspension injection not serious imagined.
