摘要: Background: Antibiotics used as growth promoters in livestock have been banned the European Union since 2006. alternatives focused on probiotics, such Lactobacillus acidophilus. The concentration of L. acidophilus is considered crucial for obtaining desired effects. However, limited studies conducted to test dose-dependent effects Therefore, present study aimed performance, nutrient digestibility, fecal microbial flora and noxious gas emission weaning pigs.; Results: supplementation increased (P < 0.05) average daily gain, feed intake, apparent digestibility dry matter, nitrogen gross energy, counts compared basal diet treatment, a linear effect was observed those criteria. Escherichia coli NH3 were decreased by supplementation, E. counts.; Conclusion: These results suggest that could be an antibiotic alternative improving gut balance (i.e. counts), decreasing emission, pigs. © 2016 Society Chemical Industry.; Industry.
