摘要: The long-ranged attractions between hydrophobic amorphous fluoropolymer surfaces are measured in water with and without dissolved air. An atomic force microscope is used to obtain more than 500 jump-in distances, which yields statistically reliable results. It found that the range of attraction its variability generally significantly decreased deaerated as compared normal, aerated water. However, strength remain greater van der Waals for this system. experimental observations consistent (1) nanobubbles being primarily responsible normal water, (2) not present when contact, (3) absence most probably due approach separation-induced spinodal cavitation type identified by Berard et al.
