摘要: At the Division of Cardiac Surgery St. Camillo Hospital, 1411 patients were operated on for valve replacement with ST. JUDE MEDICAL® prostheses from November 1978 through June 30, 1986. Six hundred eighty had mitral (MVR), 468 aortic (A VR), 5 tricuspid (TVR), 246 MVR + AVR, 8 TVR, 1 AVR 3 and as well ascending aorta a MEDICAL valved graft. The total number implanted was 1672. Associated procedures were: left atrium thrombectomy 98, repair 92, coronary artery bypass grafting 52, subaortic membrane 19, atrial septal defect closure 16. operative mortality rate 9.3% MVR, 5.8% 40% 6.8% 14% 66.6% 0% TVR. 7-year actuarial survival 78% 86% 80% AVR. 7 years, freedom thromboembolism 82% complete series, major events (prosthesis failure prosthesis thrombosis) 92%. Seven-year in concomitant similar to that without disease. Clinical improvement observed 97% patients.
