Metabolism of serum VLDL-, LDL-, and HDL-apoproteins in rats on two different low protein diets

摘要: Abstract Apoprotein (apo) metabolism of serum total lipoproteins (LP), very low, low and high density LP (VLDL, LDL HDL) were evaluated using [ 3 H]-leucine pulse injected into rats fed 2% casein (C), 5% gluten (Gl) or 15% (T) diets, during 14 days. Apo contents determined, after separation according to SDS gradient polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. In the three groups, similar percent incorporation was observed. spite a decrease in concentration VLDL-apos with both depleted peak VLDL specific radioactivity (SR) reached between 30 60 min groups. SR each VLDL-apo differed (P apo B48 > E A-I C. The occured at 120 (C) groups HDL rose reach plateau 180 H]-pulse, significantly higher profiles HDL-apo percents found liver kidneys Therefore, our results provide evidence changes different its synthesis location origin (VLDL HDL).
