摘要: In an attempt to develop a noninvasive test assess objectively the magnitude of venous valvular dysfunction in pathologic states, photoplethysmography (PPG) was compared pressure saphenous vein at ankle. Simultaneous and PPG recordings were taken before, during, after exercise with subjects sitting position. total 338 paired measurements 24 normal, 25 postphlebitic, 14 varicose limbs, tracings appeared be identical; data points had correlation coefficient great significance (r = 0.898). Postexercise recovery times clearly separated normal from postphlebitic limbs. Varicose limbs assessed accurately regarding results proposed surgery using above-knee tourniquet. It appears that evaluation provides information comparable studies does so more quickly noninvasively. The holds promise measuring direct reconstructive as well venectomy procedures.
