摘要: Many different conclusions concerning what type of mechanism rats use to solve a daily time-place task have emerged in the literature. The purpose this study was test three competing explanations discrimination. Rats (n = 10) were tested twice T-maze, separated by approximately 7 h. Food available at one location morning and another afternoon. After learned visit each appropriate time, tests omitted evaluate whether utilizing time-of-day (i.e., circadian oscillator) or an alternation strategy visiting correct is cue next location). Performance on significantly lower than chance, ruling out time-of-day. A phase advance light cycle conducted timing with respect interval timer). There no difference between probe baseline performance. These results suggest that used meet temporal spatial contingencies task.
