One-step electrochemical synthesis and visible-light photocatalytic activities of bismuth titanate coatings: Effect of voltage

摘要: Abstract Nanostructured Bi 12 TiO 20 coatings with superior photocatalytic property were controllably fabricated on bismuth substrates by one-step electrochemical method in the alkali electrolytes. It was found that high voltage spark, which initiated transformation of 2 O 3 precursor generated at low to sillenite type , dominated formation titanate coating. Varying deposition can effectively tailor crystallinity, morphology and optical coatings. coating consisting spherical particles ca. 30 nm size micropores 100 nm diameter obtained 80 V, exhibiting enhanced visible spectrum absorption higher ability compared pure films prepared similar method.
