First simultaneous observation of electron emission from and switching current transient in PZT ferroelectric ceramics

摘要: Abstract Fast ferroelectric switching in PZT has been investigated simultaneously with the characteristic pulsed electron emission. The visible correlation time directly suggests that change of polarization inside ceramic material causes emission effect. It is shown amount emitted charge related to degree while changing starting from different points at hysteresis loop. Resetting by an opposite-oriented electrical field between single processes increases beam current, improves stability and practical advantage.
