摘要: Obesity is an important risk factor for type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Weight loss improves the major factors involved in pathogenesis of T2DM, namely insulin action and beta cell function, considered a primary therapy obese patients who have T2DM. Unfortunately, most with T2DM fail to achieve successful weight adequate glycemic control from medical therapy. In contrast, bariatric surgery causes marked complete remission patients. Moreover, surgical procedures that divert nutrients away upper gastrointestinal tract are more producing than those simply restrict stomach capacity. Although bypass alter metabolic response meal ingestion, by increasing early postprandial plasma concentrations glucagon-like peptide 1 insulin, it not clear whether these effects make contribution long-term glycemia once substantial surgery-induced has occurred. Nonetheless, on body function indicate should be part standard More research needed advance our understanding physiological different possible loss–independent improve contribute resolution
