摘要: SummaryBackground The prevalence of functional dyspepsia (FD) following infectious gastroenteritis has not been systematically reviewed. Aim To conduct a systematic review and calculate the summary odds ratio (OR) for development FD gastroenteritis, as compared to control population. Methods Published studies in PubMed, EmBASE, Cochrane Database abstracts from standard sources were screened eligible studies. Data meeting inclusion criteria pooled meta-analysis. Results Nineteen inclusion. The mean acute (AGE) was 9.55% (FD, n = 909; AGE, n = 9517) adult populations. OR post-infectious 2.54 (95% CI = 1.76–3.65) at more than 6 months after controls within same population. This is with (3.51; 95% CI = 2.05–6.00) irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) population AGE. There significant statistical heterogeneity an I2 72.8% FD. Several pathogens, including Salmonella spp., Escherichia coli O157, Campylobacter jejuni, Giardia lamblia Norovirus have shown be associated symptoms. Conclusions Infectious increased risk subsequent well syndrome. Post-infectious may represent different aspects pathophysiology. Further will needed determine this.
