摘要: Traffic causes enhanced PM10 resuspension especially during spring in the US, Japan, Norway, Sweden and Finland, among other countries. The springtime consists primarily of mineral matter from tyre-induced paved road surface wear traction sand. In some countries, majority vehicles are equipped with studded tyres to enhance traction, which additionally increases wear. Because sand pavement aggregate can have a similar mineralogical composition, it has been difficult determine source fraction PM10. this study, homogenous different compositions were chosen sources particles by single particle analysis (SEM/EDX). This study was conducted test facility, made possible rule out dust contributions sources. ambient concentrations higher when used, regardless whether or not. Surprisingly, use greatly increased number originating pavement. It concluded that must contribute phenomenon is called sandpaper effect. An understanding important reduce harmful effects practical winter maintenance urban roads
