摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter describes the behavior of superparamagnetic nanoparticles, in context transport and field-induced self-assembly ferrofluids magnetic microspheres. The current research on applications microspheres biomedical, MEMS microscale thermal engineering is also discussed. Magnetic nanoparticles a suspension are amenable to number forces, such as Brownian Stokes drag van der Waals attraction potential, gravitational force dipole–dipole interaction an imposed field. Therefore, more involved multiscale models—for example, Lattice-Boltzmann method, have been deployed analyze Experimental investigations performed using direct imaging, fluorescence sensing—for giant magneto resistive (GMR) sensors or superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) sensors.
